Cylinder with electropneumatic positioner for air volume control on large fans
The air volume on large fans is set using adjustable guide vanes. A pneumatic cylinder with electro-pneumatic positioner is used to adjust these blades. The position of the cylinder is scanned via an integrated guide ruler and converted into a pneumatic control signal in the positioner in order to approach the setpoint specified by the control system in the form of a current signal. The repeat accuracy is extremely high.
