Rotary actuator in explosion-proof design with emergency manual override and controls
This rotary actuator is used in oil and gas extraction systems. It controls a valve that regulates the volume flow of drilling fluid to the drill head. All aluminium parts are hard-coated to make the drive seawater-resistant. The actuator is supplied in an explosion-proof design and all parts are conductively connected to prevent electrostatic charging. The operator can be manually adjusted using a hand crank for emergency operation. It is mainly used on oil rigs.
