Oil brake cylinder with controlled pull-out speed
The viscous sugar mass in a sugar centrifuge is scraped off the centrifuge wall by a pneumatically operated scraper. This oil brake cylinder with integrated flow control valve is used to prevent jerky movements of the scraper when it comes into contact with the sugar mass. It prevents uncontrolled movements and ensures constant feed movement even with strongly varying external forces.
